Mondays Dark

Opera Las Vegas is honored to have been chosen as one of the beneficiaries this year to receive a grant from The Space at their acclaimed Monday's Dark program on 20 November.

The Space is a popular off-strip entertainment venue that is a hidden gem catering 90% to locals. Since 2013, The Space honors a local non-profit organization every other Monday with a high-octane variety program called Mondays Dark. The name derives from the many Strip productions that are closed (dark) on Mondays. Top professional entertainers perform, often at no charge, to help raise funds for the selected non-profit. At the conclusion of the event, the non-profit is presented with a check for $10,000.

This provides a great opportunity for Opera Las Vegas to broaden our audience outreach. Our contribution to the event’s festivities is a silent auction, promoted online to The Space’s 6000 person mailing list and on site at the event, which always sells out with a standing room audience.
